Not quite understanding the 1080p thing on new hdtv's. In the market for a 40-46 to hang on the wall, looking for the best for the money, but don't want to pay for useless technology. Any suggestions??

If you want 1080p I would say the sony bravia Xbr. they make a 40 and a 46 its pricy but its worth it.
