What is VP socket?

i have mitsubishi vs45605 have black bars (1.5" thick) at the top and bottom, and also horizontal lines scrolling. check my other thread previously posted.

I came across about 10 diff forums and about 200 threads/posts that kept saying pip module maybe the cause.

what is vp socket? how can i identify where the pip card located?

there are two cards thats on the power PCB but couldnt narrow it down. pic will be up
