1.  Press the OPEN/CLOSE, ZOOM, A-B, UP, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT buttons on the remote control.
2.  The words REGION FREE should briefly appear on the screen to confirm success.

Return player to region 2:

1.  Open the disc tray on the player.
2.  Press 1, 1, 1, 1, 2 on the remote control one at a time.
3.  The words REGION 2 should briefly appear on the screen to confirm success.
