REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Labway

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
XWave 900
(old firmware)
XWave 1000		 Method 1:

1.  Power on the DVD with no disc in the tray.
2.  Press SETUP, STEP, FFWD, FBWD on the remote control.
3.  You should be in the Miscellaneous menu now.
4.  Press PAUSE, STOP, with + or - keys until you have selectedthe region that you want to use, or set it to 0 for region-free.

Method 2:

1.  Press SETUP on the remote control.
2.  A menu appears, select PREFERENCES.
3.  Press STILL/STEP, PREV, NEXT on the remote control.
4.  You should now be in a hidden menu, where you can change the region, or set it to region-free.
5.  You can also disable Macrovision in this menu.

   

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
XWave 900
(new firmware)		 Region select:

1.  Press the SETUP button on the remote control.
2.  Press 3, 8, 8, 8, 3 on the remote control.
3.  You should now be in a hidden menu.
4.  You cab change the region or set it to region-free.

Select PAL or NTSC:

1.  Press the SETUP button on the remote control.
2.  Press 7, 2, 5, 5, 5 on the remote control.
3.  You should now be able to change the output between PAL, NTSC and AUTO.

Check firmware version:

1.  Press the SETUP button on the remote control.
2.  Press 1, 2, 3, 4 on the remote control.
3.  You should now be able to see the firmware version date.
