DVD-5000 1.  Put the player into Standby mode.
2.  Press 0, 0 on the remote control.
3.  Press 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, etc.
4.  To verify the region you have set, press 0, 0, +10 - the front panel will flash the current region setting.

Method 1:

1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9, 0, 0.
3. Press Exit.
4. You should receive a message in English and the machine is now in Region Free mode.

Method 2:

1. Turn the player on and ensure there is no disc in the tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in 0, 0, followed by the region number required, or use Clear for region free.

 Yes for D-10 and D-12, but unsure which method!

Let me know if D10 uses method 1 or 2!
