DVD-510		 1. Make sure there is no disc in the player's tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: Setup, Stop, Skip Backword, Skip Forward.
3. You will now be in a hidden menu where you can change the option Region ID to 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or Bypass for multi-region.
4. Press the Play, followed by Setup buttons on your remote control.
5. There is also an option for disabling Macrovision.		 Yes

DVD-213 1. With tray open.
2. Press Setup.
3. Press chapter back ("I<<"),chapter forward (">>I"), Stop.
4. You should then have a secret menu appear "version".
5. Enter into the new menu and change "region" to 0.		 Yes

2. Setup.
3. Press the following numbers 49540.
4. "Version" menu appears.

DVD-113 Not all Finlux players are suitable for playing VCD, but here's a method for region select:

a) Turn on the dvd player without a disc in the player
b) Open tray
c) Press the following numbers: 8, 5, 6, 1
d) Now you should find yourself in the hidden menu where you should be able to change the region

2. Setup.
3. [right] [left] [down] [up].
4. Press [display].
5. Change region to 0.
6. Press Enter.

DVD-610 1. Make sure there is no disc in the player's tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: 2, 8, 1, 2, Enter.
3. Change the country code to that required, or 13 for multi-region.
4. Press Setup on the remote control to finish and exit.		 Yes

DVD-512 1. Open tray door
2. Press right arrow
3. Press left arrow
4. Press down arrow
5. Press up arrow
6. Press display button
7. Next you'll have to choose which region you want to change it to. You can also press 0 to make it region free. Otherwise press the number the region must be.
There are also a few other numbers that can enable/disable certain options. They are described next:

#7 CVBS and RGB (not sure what it's for)
#8 VCD and No VCD
#9 Mute ON and Mute OFF (for DVD-TV only)

8. Press enter to finish

Note: Don't press default setup. This will change them all back to factory default setup.

Another method:

1 - Power on
2 - Eject tray
3 - Press Setup (this is important and different then the other hacks)
3 - Press : right, left, down, up, display (arrow keys)you have to press it quicky enough tho...
4 - You'll see a bar (on top) where "ALL" is highlighted, press 8 to enable vcd support (that includes svcd) you will see a notification : "VCD SUPPORT ENABLED"
