DVD8882 1. Power Off, Power On.
2. Press Arrow Up, Arrow Up.
3. Press Arrow Down, Arrow Down.
4. Press Arrow Right.
5. Press Arrow Left.
6. Press the region number required or 0 for region-free.
7. Press Enter.
8. You will see a message that says "Please Wait"		 Yes

1. Use the remote control to key in the following: Setup, Step, Skip Right, Skip Left.
2. You can now change the region code and turn Macrovision off.

Another method:

1. Power on the player.
2. Press Open/Close on the remote control.
3. Type 3, 3, 0, 8 - the player displays 'XXXX' on the upper left corner. Wait until the Xs disappear.
4. Enter the desired region, 0 means region free. Wait until the the number disappears.
5. Press Open/Close on the remote control.
6. Power off.
