REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Digitor

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
G1629 DVD+VCR COMBO 1. Open Tray.
2. On remote, press numbers 0, 5, 2, 0 (Unit echos "0" for each press).
3. Press Up Arrow (Unit responds with "0").
4. Press Down Arrow (Unit responds with "0").
5. Press Left Arrow (Unit responds with "0").
6. Press Right Arrow (Unit responds with "REGION FREE").
7. Close Tray.

The DVD player section will now play dics from all regions.

Note, as this is a PAL device, it now automatically converts
NTSC zone 1 DVDs to PAL 4.43MHz burst!

unknown 1. Open the player disc tray.
2. Press 7, 7, SELECT/ENTER.
3. The secret engineer's menu is now displayed.
4. The region code is listed under COUNTRY CODE and can be changed to any region you want, or if you use 13, then the player becomes region-free.
5. Press PLAY to exit the menu, close the disc tray.

Silver 2117 Region Select:

1. Ensure no disc is in the tray
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: 1, 6, 7, followed by the region number, or 0 for region-free.

VCD Enable:

1. Put an Audio CD ( not VCD/DVD ) in the DVD player.
2. Wait until the unit plays 1st track.
3. Press Stop key to show the player menu.
4. Using the remote control, key in the following: 1, 5, 9.
5. VCD option menu will be displayed.
6. Select 1 to enable the VCD.
7. Take out the Audio CD, and play VCD now.

2. Press OK when config menu pops up .
3. Choose 0 , for All Regions, or the region number required.
4. Press Exit.		 Yes
