I have purchased an Xbox 360 and have a 52G886. I have noticed that for hi-def, they are selling a vga cable in addition to the component cable. Does anyone know if that would be better than the component connection? Are there any differences in quality?

Too dark and the aspect ratio's off.

Also 1080p is nothing for all the half-HD film transfers currently on HD-DVD. Rumour is the 360 will release an HDMI cable, hopefully HDMI 1.3, you will be able to send 1080p through that from the 360 and it will look way better.
