I think price of unit cost about $1K to $5K. .. or more . Then, about from 2 to 3 years, users begin to repair their units . Repair will cost about from $300 up to $2K . So, total cost of a unit will be very... very expensive (this does not count for 10 years no part to replace) . But we get no choice . So we have to try to find a way to keep our TV out of problem . As I know, heat is cause many problems . I think (like many of you before), if one who put (how ? I don't know) a fan/heatsink in evry IC chip component . So problems will be gone [but a Tech.- sevice will become unemployment :-)) ] Trade off with a puting a fan and a headsink into TV, dust will deposit inside a housing of TV and it will cost many problem too . But If compare between dust & heat I chose a puting fan/heatsink. Reason, it is easy for a maintenance (1 or 2 times a year to vacuum-clean a inside housing of a TV). Hoping someone who did put a fan/headsink into TV to share some opinion . Thank you |
