Hi all,
I have just bought a Bravia 40W2000 which supports full 1080p, my Helios H4000 says it supports 1080p upscaling through HDMI, I have connected the player though HDMI but can only get the picture upto 1080i, when I select the H4000 to output at 1080p, i get no picture but I get sound....any ideas?
any help appreciated |

I have the same issue with the HDMI. Does your TV support 1080p over component? If so try 1080p over component. Otherwise we have to wait for a firmware update. I do not see any for the H4000 yet here:

have u got it to work over component, I havent tried it yet, also neodigit's customer service is absolutely rubbish, they have only contacted me once and not given any solution to the problem, and now not even responding to my emails. |

I have the same problem with my Sharp Aquos LCD, LC-46D62U. I get 1080p with Helios H4000 when using the component output, but everytime I try the HDMI output, I get distorted pictures at 1080p - works fine with 1080i. Problem is the Sharp LC-46D62U has two component input only which are taken up by my cable box and xbox 360. Anybody has a solution to my problem? Any software update for Helios H4000 yet? |

I have spoken to them recently and aparantly an update for the h4000 will be available by end of january...fingers crossed |
