i have a rear projection tv model 9p50??c103 5yrs old few hrs and had no pic or sound. when u turned it on it started to fire up then pop goes blank except green lcd on front. well my uncle used to repair tv,s and he said that is was usually the flyback so i put one in. ok now it powers up with sound but then screen shrinks to middle 1/2 size and colors unconverged. what's next? any help will be appreciated. thanks |

When the fly blew it took out the power supply. I don't know this set personally, but your regulated B+ should be somewhere around 130-135 volts. Your probably running at 80-90 volts. Have your uncle take a look at the power supply. |
