I have a two year old Samsung 43" DLP that has always made a high pitched whining noise. Lately the noise is getting louder and I must do something about it. From reading your posts and such the problem is more than likely the color wheel (P/N BP96-00250A). Local guys want $250 to replace it but if it is not too technical of a job I would like to tackle it myself. Would like feed back on both my diagnosis and installation help. Thanks |

Thanks for the help. The directions were spot on. The only problem I had was that the wire ribbon on the replacement color wheel was shorter and I had to reroute it to make it reach. The TV is now quieter and clearer than it was when I brought it home. |
