Hey all. First time posting as a guest. I have a PS2 hooked up to my Samsung 50" DLP TV. It was fine for two years. Two months ago, i started to see red and green, thin diaganol lines across the screen when I use Component cables. If i use S-Video i get a wavier interlace problem, but it is still bad. Less so with standard A/V, but noticeable. I've checked everything i can think of. It isnt the system, or the game (i tried different games and GameCube, too). It isnt the inputs or the cables -- i tried component, two S-video, and A/V. I moved any nearby electronics like a DVD player away. Used different outlets. My TV still looks brilliant, and i have no problems with playing DVDs (which use the same inputs as the videogame system. I know, I know, i should buy an HDMI cable!) I am stumped. Is there some TV setting? They are pretty thin, and this problem is only with videogames. |
