I love the set...but when I got home from taking my little one out last night...I went to turn on the tv, and the power light comes on, and then off in 3 secs. I can hear the relay clicking on and off, futhermore...when I pulled the front panel, I can see the tubes starting to come on in that 3 seconds. I pulled the board for inspection of signs of burns, and found a green-blue corrision round two caps located almost center of the right board, in front of the center heat sink. I dont wanna have to call a service tech, for a large bill, when it might be a 20 dollar part.

Has anyone experienced this problem, or know how to resolve it?

In desperate need of HDTV,
Dan

Hello Dan,

I seem to be experiencing the same problem on the same model TV. Would you please tell me exactly which fuse on which board needed to be replaced? Did anything else need to be done? Thanks in advance for your help.

Mike
