The receiver started to switch off almost every time I try to use anything from the menu. Even when you are watching TV. Without reason. Last time I scanned, it took me forever because of that - just before saving the programmes it swithed off. Any suggestion why? |

dear Melissa,
Your reciver may have more than one satellite which cannnot read or take your programme or scanning, best thing to delete the one you r not required, then try doing the process of blind scan whatever doing, that is the reason it will take solong. |

Download the factory bin 272 into your receiver and then download the latest bin 282T into your receiver. Then, do a factory reset of your receiver and then re-scan all your satellites. Then, enter the latest keys. You can find the latest files and latest keys at www.download-dssworld.co.nr , they're specialist in Fortec Star Lifetime Ultra receivers ONLY. Also, go to www.dssworld.co.nr and register there for FREE because after 5 days the download page will have some kind of password protection, members will be able access it only. So, .....
