Pls bear with me I need some help. I have a pansat 2500a and since the release of the recent bin files (halleluja) I have loaded in the past days the latest bin files 281, 281T and 282 but my box is still not working. The problem is that I cannot get acces to the parental control as it is blacked out in the main menu. I am afraid I am back to the factory setting mode. How can I get my box up and going again. Any advice appreciated. Pls be as specific as you can since I am not very knowledgeable. Many thanks in advance. |

try doing a blind scan... first u have to have some channels before parental control |

You need to configure your antenas and (Through the Installation Menu) then do a Blind Scan. Once you have Channel Data, you'll be able to access Parental Controls. The reason you cant access it right now is because you have no channel data. |

Thanks for your quick response. Actually I tried these options before (blind scan and sat scan) but the message I got back was "0 transponders found". |
