Folks, I am very new to this forum. Having said that, it already looks to be a great place for some quality discussion on DLPs.

Let me jump into the topic right away! I am in the process of doing some research on the best DLP TV to buy..

I am looking to buy a good DLP TV. I have a huge living room and I think I certainly need the TV to be 60 to 70 inches! I am more inclined towards Samsung but I happened to see some of the posts in this forum about the problems people have been facing with Samsung DLPs. Now in a confused state... not really sure whether to go for Samsung or Toshiba.

The Samsung models I had in mind are HL-R7178W and HL-R6768W. Toshiba models I considered were 62HMX84 and 72HM195.

Now.. what do you guys recommend? Would you be able to help me out? Any other models recommended?

Moreover, I am more inclined to buy it online.. but am worried if the shipping would actually ruin the biggie.. Do you guys know if these DLPs are very sensitibe to mechanical shocks?
