I just purchased a 42" Samsung plasma edtv (Samsung SP-S4243). I know this doesnt have the HD tuner built in, but if I were to purchase an HD receiver from Directv, would this tv convert the picture into HD quality? The salesperson I purchased this from told me that it would, but after I purchased the tv I was told by friends that the plasma picture would not improve with HD equipment from Directv. Thanks in advance for the replies |

Even your source or convertor has a HD grade, The LCD Display Size will be defined by TV Spec. it means that you can not change the resolution in any other way. |
