When turning the set on I get the usual click, followed by popping sounds. No display then the unit will shut down after 10 or so seconds and the green/red light will flash as the system enters self protect mode.

I’m guessing the popping sounds are the relays on the power supply pcb that are attempting to latch but are failing due to problems elsewhere.

If I use input select and power for a hard rest the unit will usually fire up after a couple of attempts ie after it warms up. Or I sometimes just get the popping sound, turn off, try again and third time lucky the relays will latch and viewing is fine after that. Problem started about a week ago and has got more frequent so something is obviously detonating

Any one got any ideas
