Hi all, i'm using a brand new Thomson Plasma 42" connected (via HDMI cable) to a Hyundai DVX852 player. Image is perfect but doesn't completely fill the screen. I made several different test ..unsuccessfully . Could anybody give me some hints/suggestion about? Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks. Fabrizio |

do you mean like black bars on the top and bottom? you may want to change the display setting in your dvd player to "wide" or "16:9". even set right not all dvds will fill the screen completely. some still have black bars on top and bottom because the theatrical aspect ratio is still wider than your TV. good luck! |

but as for as HDMI as concerned, the dirver that has been connected via HDMI can say 'hello" to eathother then recongernize bothside automatiically. so then can optimize the perfermance all by then self, may the version of HDMI of your player is lower than that of your plasma, so just as Tommy saying, you have to set it manual. |
