I'm posting this on behalf of my friend. he just bought a 46" Toshiba DLP cinema series and isnt' too happy with it right now. The picture looks great, but when theres blacks on the screen it looks really fuzzy or snowy. i'm not sure if that's considered "screen door effect" but its pretty noticeable. i went over and tried adjusting the picture settings becuase i know how they come with the contrast turned all the way up. i couldn't get it to go away. we also went to Visions and future shop to check out the other Toshiba DLP sets and they didn't have the same problem. is there anything we can try? he tried getting a Monster power bar to clean up the signal but it didnt' help. this shows with SDTV, HDTV, DVD and Xbox 360. what should he do?
