Hi,

I wish to use my Sony plasma monitor as a tv, can I convert cable to an S-Video signal?

Regards,

If you have cable box that has an s video output you could run it from the cable box to the monitor in your case the plasma. If you have satellite I would be surprised if it did not have a s video output. You should be fine unless your cable is going straight from the wall to the tv
