My elderly mother bought this VCR from a TV repair man when her old one broke down. He set it up for her. Unfortunately when it was accidentally turned off at the wall she could not get it to work properly. After a great deal of trouble following the manual we eventually set it up so she could watch pre-recordrd tapes but couls not set it up so that she could record from the TV. In the setting up it kept asking for a code which we could not find anywhere in the manual. She is now unable to record her favourite programmes.Can anyone help??????

I recently got basic cable connection through comcast cable (without box)

Now my problem is I cannot record any program except channel 3.

If I turn on my VCR then TV is not clear.

Please help me how to record the program coming on TV.

1. Make sure that the VCR is set up for Channel 3, not Channel 4.

2. Make sure that the cable wire coming from your wall goes first into the VCR and that the output wire from your VCR then goes into the TV.
