The remote code on my unit was changed from 2 to 1 during installation of their firmware. Anyone have any idea how to change it back to 2? Any button that I push on the remote brings up "RC1" in the unit window with no response from the unit at all.

On the older ones you pressed DVD and whatever number you wanted at the same time.

Thanks David but it didn't work on this one. I think I tried every button combination possible because I remember some old units having that capability.

As it sits right now, I now have a $300 paperweight on my hands. I sent an email to Panasonic but we all know how much good that'll do. They'll probably send me to the same service guy that screwed it up in the first place.

Try pressing power and number 1 at the same time.
