i have one and i was wondering how do i dub from the hard drive to a dvd and what kind of dvd do i need to do this?

i bought dvd+r and dvd-r. when i put them in it says ( cheack disc it may be damaged physicaly or reqires cleaning? it does not need to be cleaned and isnot damaged?

any clue on what it might be?

You can't use + discs in a Toshiba. What brand and speed are the discs?

the dvd-r are 1-8x speed? they are r4.7gb/120min?

Does the disc packaging say made in Japan? If so they should be TY discs and shouldn't be the problem. Is the recorder new or used?

they are new disk. i call toshiba and they said that it needs new farmware and they are sending me the disk?
