have been told by the television engineer that the tuner on my old Sanyo CB5156 television has stopped working and will need to be replaced. I can find no information about, or prices of, these tuners on-line. My TV dates back to about 1989/90/91 time. Has anyone else had a problem trying to get information about their old TV? What should I do? |

I could not find a Sanyo parts store in the UK. Here is one in the USA. http://www.partstore.com/Sitemap/sanyo-tv-parts.aspx Here is a site to convert dollars to pounds. http://www.xe.com/ucc/ |

Thank you, Robert. I had a look at www.partstore.com. There were nearly 4,000 Sanyo models, but mine (CB, etc) was not amongst them. My television was made in England too, but I don't know whether that helps. It's looking a bit bleak for my old TV. The picture is really good and I'm using the satellite transmission to get all the channels that would have been on terrestrial TV. I've seen some widescreen televisions in the shop, but the picture doesn't look as good for some reason. |
