i have a hitachi 60" ultravision. i had the set in for repairs about 4 months ago for a convergence problem. they fixed the one but brought it back with a new problem with waviness in the top of the picture. told me wait for it to get worse then call them and they would come back and fix it. now my power wont come on. looks like a common problem for hitachi's. i can unplug it and back in hit the power button lite comes on then shuts off a sec.. later. the repair guy told me it not related and id be looking at another $500 to fix. my question is are there circuts in the power supply that can be swapped to fix or is it curb side for this unit. only 6 years old.
