We have a Toshiba MV13P2 13" TV/VCR combo and I would like to record a Spanish-language program from the TV. We have a cable antenna going into the back of the set. The program does record, but there is no sound. I had tried to utilize closed-caption abilties while recording, which worked for a few seconds, but then was no longer visible. I then tried to disable the closed-caption option, which is no longer visible either during recording or while watching the live program. The sound registers clearly when watching the television, but only sounds like static, when watching the recorded image. I have tried a few blank tapes, with only silence, and also used one prerecorded tape, with the new image recording over the original program, yet retaining the original audio from the tape I was recording over. There is one "line in" for video and audio on the front of the tv, but I have never used this. Any suggestions? |
