Hello, all! I have an insignia dvd/vhs recorder (IS-DVD100121) and am trying to figure out how to record from VHS to DVD. I have had this thing nearly a year and have never recorded with it. DVDs play fine but I can't get the video to play on VHS...I can hear the audio but get no video, just a green screen. I have tried every setting I can think of but can't seem to find the right one. I have taken the cable convertor box off and hooked the unit directly to the television, have tried channels 3 & 4 as the playback stations, have also tried the various modes on the "tv/video" settings on the tv. I have to figure it's something fairly simple that I'm fouling up or that the unit is a dud & is just not going to play the video portion of the tape. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks!

How is the DVD connected to the TV? The VCR part doesn't output through component or s-video, only through composite or coax.
