My friend just got a projector from powersellernyc.com for a low price but doesn't know how to hook it up to the computer. HELP!! He Is Driving Me Crazy!!!!!!!

I have a Sharp XV-370P Multimedia Projector and am unable to play my DVD. There is ablue screen with video 1 appearing all the time. What am i doing wrong.
