I have a Sony Trinitron 13 inch TV (1991 model) that works great, but I don't have the original remote. I have located the remote for a mere $75 as a replacement on the web. I have other Sony TV's but those remotes only work the main functions, volume, channel, mute, power. I need to use the autoprogram button so my tv will search all of my channels. It is currently set on only locals and I need it to be autoprogram my basic cable.
I have bought a universal Sony brand remote and that didn't help. In the picture I found of the original remote it has a button's such as "Erase, Add, Auto Program, and Cable", I know that is the whole problem. I need the original remote. Does anyone else know of any cheaper suggestions or have any idea how I may be able to to fix this. Thanks. |
