Well today I was watching some HD and I have noticed that when I changed the channel it would have a little shadow or burn-in if you will and then go to the other channel and be fine. Once on the channel you could not see anything, but once you turned the channel and it was black for a second you would see the remenants of the channel that you turned from.

I have a Samsung DLP HL-P5085W TV that I bought one year ago. Just wondering if this is something that I need to have covered under the warranty or if it is nothing.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

There is no burn-in to a DLP. It's actually physically impossible. The screen has no chemical composition. It only reflects light cast upon it from the digital micro-mirror device. Have it looked at while the warranty is still in effect. It could be the DMD Control Module.
