I have many home videos on VHS and also DV-c tapes that I would like to transfer to DVD. However, there are lots of boring scenes and mistakes that I would like to edit out. Can this be done. IF so, what do I need. Thanks for any help |

Get a standalone DVD recorder with a hard drive. |

Will a stand alone dvd with a hard drive make the kind of editing I have in mind as easy as a few flicks of a button? What features should I look for in this type of machine and do you have any particular brands and models you would recommend. I greatly appreciate you assistance. |

I don't use a HD recorder, I edit on a PC. Editing should be easy. Pioneer or Toshiba are probably your best bet. |
