Hello - I am a total newbie at this, and am not technical at all. I have a Tivo box hooked up to my TV and just bought a Panasonic DMR-ES20 dvd recorder. I followed the directions it gave me to hook up, but it is not working properly. First of all, with all three units turned on, I can see my tv picture like normal, but do not have sound. Then when I put the input on TV to TV as directed (instead of satellite), it goes to the screen that looks like the poltergeist-type screen, and it is where the dvd recorder is supposed to start the setup with the english language option etc.
I'm not sure if I gave enough info to get help, but would appreciate any helpful input.

NEVERMIND...pulled the s-video cable out and it works fine now. Thanks. |
