I just got a new Westinghouse 42" LCD (1080p). When it is hooked up with the Comcast DVR box through either DVI or component, on certain HD channels (NBC, ESPN, INHD, INHD2), there is a white vertical line at the very left edge. It does not happen on other HD channels (CBS, ABC, TNT, Discovery, etc).

Has anybody heard of this problem? Is it the DVR box or the display? Any thoughts?

Thanks

1) on those channels does it happen on every program? What about the HD VOD channels?

2) have you tried hooking up a high definition box or another DVR to rule out a bad DVR?

3) have you changed any user settings in the DVR menu?

4) are you using a 20-pin DVI cable & is it hooked up to the correct jack on the back of the tv? Is your DVI cable loose?

5) in the tv menu is there a function to adjust the horizontal position of the image?

Maybe you have already tried these, but this is what I suggest
