I've had my rca xl100 for more than 10 years, it's an old tv. i've never had problems until now. i have cable and all the channels were working fine. all of a sudden only a few channels worked, the rest were static channels. after about 2 weeks that this happened the few channels that did work only worked sometimes. i'll be watching the channel and it'll go static all of a sudden. but then when i turn the tv off and turned it back on right after it'll continue working but will go to static again after a while. now they don't work at all. none of my channels work, it's all static. what can i do to fix this myself? thanks for any input.

Use a VCR and the line inputs, if it has them.

Kiss it goodbye. RCA tuner problems are nothing new.
