2 Receiver: for EX . you are looking sat. 110 & 119 with 2 LNB (dual). You need 2 DISEQC to get two output . 4 short cable (X<1m long) run form LNB SAT. 110 ---> cable A 110 ---> cable A' SAT. 119 ---> cable B 119 ---> cable B' Parallel Connected: DISEQC #1 : 110A & 119B ----> output 1 DISEQC #2 : 110A' & 119B' ---> output 2 **** DISEQC : Remenber what port # is connected You will apply for setting up in your receiver . So you have 2 Receivers . Output 1 ----> Receiver 1 Output 2-----> Receiver 2 have fun. - Buile |

if you have T90 dish you can get 4 SAT and also depending on the LNBF that you currently have (max to 4 receivers as Invacom Quad Polar LNBF) |

U can get 10 receivers with 1 dish with the right combinations of switches and LNB's! U still can't even figure out how to flash your receiver...U should subscribe..or take a simple basic 5th grade computer course..SERIOUS! |

Lada, COM = Serial port (Communication port. Usually PC talk (use program) with other ...) LPT = Parallel port (Line Printer Terminal. usually use for printer) LPT port is bigger than COM port Using COM port (in this group)to upload BIN (it means PC talk with Receiver) |

Lada, You can use any COM from PC . But you need to tell program "Loader"/ or PC a location of cable is connected (what COM port). For EX when you run Loader : @ COM setting, default set: Serial port = COM1 but if you connected RS232 to COM 2, You have to change your setting is COM 2 . I don't know what COM you are connected. But if your PC have 3 ports, you don't know which one you connected, The only way to do is : DO 1 by 1 . Asume your PC has 1 port . That is COM1 With the message , I guess due to cable. Check cable/connection/do step by step slowly ... I don't know what your system is, but I recall many thread is talking about NULL and STRAIGH cable . Which one you need, you must read and find out . Hope this help . May be experters from this group will help you out . |

write failed is either wrong cable or comport!...she probably has USB oports and doesn't even know it..and FTA receivers do NOT like USB ports usually!...she previously stated she had a Fortec Ultra which needs a straight (NOT null modem ) cable..and BOTH cables look IDENTICAL! |

lada COM = Serial port (Communication port) 9 pins on back of computer. LPT = Parallel port. 25 pins also on back of computer. connect stb box to computer using com port (9 pins) use BL loader. choose COM1 (in program) download from computer to stb box. do not disturbe until download is complete. set keys download channels enjoy watching gl ps: dont' be upset with wise remarks. many think they'genuises. think all the rest are common. keep comming back for help. many are nice people. |
