Help! We live in the US and are packing up our stuff, should we take our TV sets as I am Scottish and am pretty sure I heard when last in UK that the TVs are different, something about lines and tubes,so I don't reckon it'll work.Anyone know anything about this??? |

UK is PAL, US is NTSC, also UK is 220 volts, US is 110. You could use a transformer to get the 110 volts and be able to use whatever equipment you have here with the TV, but as far as watching TV broadcasts there, it won't work. |
