i have bought a samsung lcd 32" hdtv. when i watch my cable(telewest in the united kingdom) the picture is pixelated. When i watch a dvd it looks great and hd channels look superb, is it to do with the cables as they are only standard or are there any settings i can make. its a bit disapointing as i have just paid over £1100 for the tv.

also my tv only has on hd socket so whats the best way to connect my dvd recorder to enable the best picture.

Unfortuantely, SD channels aren't going to look that great. You can try better cables, they may help alittle. They will help on HD.
