Help, I loaded C:\COOLSAT4000_NORW_123_20060610.stb then did a blind scan but I still don't get much at all??? Do I still need to enter Keys??

dont do a blind scan try from begining ..
delette all channels do factory set up load the file and the make auto scan |

No, if you're getting channels then you have the right keys.
You can check the key page but they'll be the right ones...
Your dish may be out of alignment??
Go here and check some of the channels and their tp's. if your signal sucks on those tps, you dish is out of whack!!

check your dish settings. I think this file turns off your DiSeqC. It should be set to 1.0 or 1.0/1.1 depending on how you have your 110 119 dishes set up. Do another scan after you make this change - worked for me. |

Why not make a blind scan? More channels seem to come in this way. You can edit them and use them to fill in the holes of missing channels that you got from autoscan. I have every channel Charlie offers and more than is on their website. |

i also have a cs4000pro but after loading COOLSAT4000_NORW_123_20060610.stb i have intermiten signal. i checked signal strength at 92% and quality at 91% on both 119 and 110 sats but still signal comes and goes w/ "bad or no signal" warning and then picture comes back on.
my set-up is two antennas, one pointed at 119 port one in the disque-switch and the other at 110 port two.
is anyone else having this problem? is it a problem w/ the latest bin? |

try reflashing if after run a new bin you cant find signal in channels or get listed all channels in some cases do you need reflash with the same bin. |

No it was not raining, but cloudy in southern california in morning and at night,but sunny during the afternoon. Typical weather in SoCal(Orange County). What the SoCal locals call June Gloom. |

Guys, I bought a receiver from one guy. That one does not have any brand name. Just it says Free to Air Digital Satellite Receiver. On the box, there is flower picture on the background and Three round. Two of them yellow and puple flower picture and middle round have cat picture. Anybody have idea about this receiver. He does not tell me all the details. I ask him many times, finall he said it is cool*sat colne. Then I ask what type of cool*sat, he does not tell me. So If anyone knows anything about this receiver, please post here. I want to find bin file too. He says file is not release. Please help me |

just wanted to thank everyone for the response on this post.
played around on the settings of the receiver and sure enough it was the the autoroll/tp that was causing the problem.
