Some of the channels my reciever previously had before don't seem to display anything but a "waiting for picture" message.
I also get this message: "scrambled or bad channel"
How can i fix this problem, and recover my channels? |

ok i used to have pansat 2500a its a piece of s..t i could get only dn 110 on it no 119 to got both sats you need to have dish 500 that is what i know maybe you im wrong couse i have cools@t 5000 works diferent way but the best way if you are new to this download the manual how to set up your box the right way and key ripper program then some times you have to scan sattelite diffrent way to get the channels you wanna get.
the best way to learn its to play with your reciver and read a lot of post ...

I've borrowed a koolsat 4000 and get the same results.
What are the latest keys for dish? (n2) that could be the problem. |

I just loaded the latest NORW 123 and I do have most channels, but still dont have PPV and some others. Besides applying the NORW 123, am I supposed to enter keys or run some key ripper program (like ones shown in previous message by electropunk) to get the rest of the channels? The ppv and several others show 'scramble channel'. |

what i see you have cools@t 5000 lkkl just load the bin do the auto scan and set up auto roll on thats it ...

Thanks electropunk. I have the koolsat 4000 pro. Before deleting channels and auto scanning, should I set up auto roll for ecostar, bev, and epg? I'm not sure what each of them do. |

ok delete all your channels then make factory reset after that set upt everything on in options exept (sort by sid )then go to dish seting and auto scan 110 119 for DN and 82 for belll,,,,, after that you should get everything!!!! |

Hi,
I have a pansat 2700. Downloaded the new bin (..272). Was receiving all channels till today morning (have 2 sats 61.5 and 119). Now unable to receive a few channels especially ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, channels that broadcast the soccer games. Did the TP scans, blind scans etc. but still no luck for these channels. Does anyone else have the same problem? Perhaps the TPs for these channels have changed (did not find them at lyngsat)
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not the pro but looks like DN still try somthing dont know i got cools@t 5000 yesterday my ppv freeze over for like 2 min and come back ask LT he should know !!!! |

scans are the only thing that returns missing channels..autoscan etc..and yes turn ON all the autodetect TP and autorolls! |

Thnx LK. My TP autoupdate and autoroll are both ON. Blind scans, TP scans still dont help. Interestingly other channels at the same TP for echo 7 (119W)(for ESPN-12326(H), ESPN2-12268(H), ABC-12501(H)) as the missing channels do work. Not sure where the problem is. Should I try re-flashing the bin? |

jamali check the signal for each satellite, and try in advance scan, select all satellite and scan again. |

Thnx Eva. The signal (both strength and quality) for 119 (which relays the missing channels) are above 75%. In advance scan, I scanned all the frequencies related to the missing channels(12268-H for ESPN2; 12326-H for ESPN; 12501-H for ABC), the other channels at these freq work except for these listed (alongwith FOX)..STILL NO LUCK.. |

Some moves in preparation for the Baseball Super Regionals happened today (ANON)
* ESPN Alternate (145) moved from tp 10 to 18 at 119°
* ESPN 2 Alternate (146) moved from tp 18 to 10 at 119°
* SPORT PPV channel (454) moved from tp 24 at 110° to tp 18 at 119° |

Hi,
I finally decided to reflash my pansat 2700 with bin 272. All 3 missing channels are working (for now at least!!). Thnx for the suggestions. |
