I'm trying to decide which mount is better if you need to add on different components in the future? If you have a tilting mount can you easily add new components? Thanks in advance

Articulating mounts allow you to pull the tv as much as 2 ft from the wall as well as rotate it from the farthest point. When returned to it's starting position flat on a wall, it can take up to 8" of space. It can still be tilted to get the best viewing angle possible. As far as adding new components, I would think that would depend on how accessible the connections are and how easy/dificult it would be to tilt up a TV on the tilt mount. Hope this helps.
