Sorry, I'm sure that this has been asked 1000 times but $2000+ is alot of money for me.
If I have cablevision IO and they have a HDTV cable box, then I don't need to spend the extra $$ for a HDTV with the astc tuner I can just get an HD READY TV.
Right?

Yes, but I would look a little harder for a deal on a display with a minimum 1280 X 720 resolution, rather than this Panasonic's 1024 X 768.
42" is not huge these days, but it is big enough that you might see the difference.
