I'm curious what would perform better on my non-hd tv. My TV is a Samsung pcj522r. Supposedly it can do up to 800 lines of resolution. I don't know how being analog tv. It has all the inputs such as Component, S Video etc.

I have a Pioneer DVD-v555 that does DTS and only has RCA and an S Video out. Everyone boast that this DVD player features 10-bit Video DA converter for high quality picture and 48 Khz/16 bit D/A converter for superb digital audio.

I also have a Samsung DVD player with Component out (on the back it has a switch 480i/480p/S-Video.

I'm wondering what DVD player would perform the best with my TV.

thanks!
