i want to transfer my vhs to dvd but i have a older vcr but its still working like a champ unlike the other junk vcr's they have these days. The older vcr i have only has the white and yellow connections for in and out. When i connect them to the DVD recorder, video records excellent to DVD, but the sound is mono because theres no red connection.

Anyways is there some sort of cable or adaptor that i could use so i could connect the red a/v cable into the vcr and into the dvd recorder so it doesn't sound mono??

thanks

You need a y cable. You can get it at Radio Shack, Wal Mart might have them too.
