I have an SA 8300HD DVR cable set-top box. I have limited hard drive space on that box. I would like to record some TV programs to DVD. Can I keep my exisiting 8300HD box and hook it up to a new DVD recorder, so that I can record TV programs to a DVD (instead of recording to the DVR?) Sorry for the rambling dumb question.

If the box has analog outputs, you can use a DVD recorder.
