I lost the remote to my old Quasar tv/vcr combo model vv 2020 in my recent move. The model has been discontinued so to replace the remote would be more than I can afford. I need to know if anyone can tell me how to program the tv for cable or get into the tv menu without the remote. I'm hoping a universal remote can change the channels and turn it on and off ... but being a student I'll walk over and do that manually if not, I just need to figure out how to set it up to watch something. I'd like to thank anyone that can help me for their time and suggestions.
