Help...My old VCR (Panasonic PV-V4022) has died and I've been given a Panisonic PV-V4021 to replace it....when I hooked it up the same as my old unit and attempted to 'Auto set' the TV stations it would not set the 'upper stations' nor could I add them manually...all I got was a blue screen...is this (one year older) machine incapable of reading the upper channels...doesn't seem possible...I know that they're cheap machines but I'd expect them to read and set any number of channel settings...anyone experienced same/similar problem...I understand that I am one of the few VCR Dinosaurs hanging on...taping and retaping and viewing is something that I've gotten used to and I'm not yet ready for "Tivo" or DVD recording...new to forum

Set the cable/antenna to whichever you have before autoprogramming the channels.
