Hello, I just purchased a new Pioneer progressive scan dvd player, but when I switch from interface to progressive can, the picture goes blank - I am pretty sure that my tv is progressive scan compatible - it is a Toshiba 57H94 - what can I do to fix this? |

I am very new to all this - it is connected through a single yellow cable. |

You need to use the triple component connections for progressive, you'll need audio connections too. You should have 5 cables connected to the TV, 3 for video and 2 for audio. |
